The Celtic Tiger, the economic engine that roared in the 1990s, may have softened to a purr today, but Dublin still basks in prosperity. The city’s ancient Viking center, at the mouth of the famous river Liffey, continues to be a magnet for young people throughout Europe, adding an international and progressive flavor to the Irish capital. But Irish customs abound. If you’re looking for traditional Dublin, the city of writers, actors, artists and musicians, there’re still plenty of nooks to hang out in with a sudsy pint and great new friends.
The Academic Program
The curriculum is designed to relate to the locale. The faculty is among the best at Tulane with expertise in the courses they designed specifically for this backdrop. For this four-week program, students can choose two courses of three hours each from a list of courses offered. Noted guest lecturers and special field trips add to this exciting educational experience.
